  • Winter 2014: Bachelor's of Science in Sociology, with minors in Math and French 


Employment History 

Fall 2015 to current: Graduate Research Assistant for Dr. Wendy Manning and the Center for Family & Demographic Research

  • Write online reports (Family Profiles and Ohio Population News) focused on demographic trends and behaviors.

  • Write peer reviewed articles for publication in Sociological journals.

  • Communicate with news outlets, such as The New York Times and The Toledo Blade, to help reporters write stories on demographic topics. 


Fall 2013 to Fall 2015: Research Assistant for Dr. Jay Teachman

  • Participated in projects funded by a grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development concerning the influence of military service on later life outcomes.

  • Collaborated on research, attended conferences, and published research in book.


Summers of 2011 to 2013: Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory 

  • Worked to implement a new visualization program used to simulate physics experiments. The new program was free, preventing LANL from purchasing yearly software licenses.
