Fall 2020 to present

  • Review and prepare data analytic reports. 

  • Clean and analyze Census Bureau survey data.

Graduate Research Assistant, Center for Family & Demographic Research

Fall 2015 to Fall 2020

  • Wrote online reports (Family Profiles and Ohio Population News) focused on demographic trends and behaviors.

  • Wrote peer reviewed articles for publication in Sociological journals.

  • Communicated with news outlets, such as The New York Times and The Toledo Blade, to help reporters write stories on demographic topics.

Fall 2013 to Fall 2015

  • Participated in projects funded by a grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development concerning the influence of military service on later life outcomes.

  • Collaborated on research, attended conferences, and published research in book.

Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory 

Summers of 2011 to 2013

  • Worked to implement a new visualization program used to simulate physics experiments. The new program was free, preventing LANL from purchasing yearly software licenses.
